Macarons: a gluttony

A refined, elegant, breezy and irreverent treat

Legend narrate that the macarons were born in Venice in the 16th century and then imported in France by Catherine De Medici for her marriage with the Duke of Orleans.

These little pastries weren’t born how we know them nowadays, but they had a different shape, which with the passing of time became more and more rounded. The charm of a delicious sweet, refined and elegant, but at the same time breezy and irreverent.
