A twin exhibit about the Flood (1966)

From November 8th at Decemeber 8th the showcasing of black-and-white pictures by Gianfranco Tagliapietra, the dean of venetian photographers

An exhibit to remember the floods of November 1966, on the same days that struck both Florence and Venice: the Florian celebrates the 50th anniversary of those tragic events setting up two photographic twin exhibitions by Stefano Stipitivich. From November 8th on stage the black and white photos taken by Gianfranco Tagliapietra, the dean of venetian photographers, for 40 years collaborator of the main press agencies (Associated Press, Ansa, Reuters) and Italian newspapers.

Gianfranco Tagliapietra is a well-known photographer, whose name is registered in the Association of Journalists for 40 years. He has been working for the main agencies (Associated Press, Ansa, Reuters) and for many Italian newspapers. He is co-owner of the Interpress Photo Agency. Gianfranco Tagliapietra published his photos, among others, in the books “Acqua Granda” and “Lidhollywood” by Roberto Bianchin.
